Emergency personnel will have a difficult time finding you at night if you have an address sign that is not reflective. Precious minutes will be wasted as they try to find you on a darkened road with little or no street lights.
The Fire Safe Council of Nevada County provides Reflective Safety Signs for $30.00. Signs are all weather, UV resistant metal with 1” x 3” numbers printed on both sides! Pre-drilled holes make mounting easy.
It takes about 3-4 weeks for delivery. Signs need to be picked up at the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County office when they come in or you may add $5.00 per sign to your order if you want it shipped to you. Heavy Duty Silver Fire Retardant Tarps
Embers during wildfires may land in the wood pile, ignite it and potentially the structure. The Fire Safe Council of Nevada County has heavy-duty silver fire retardant tarps that will mitigate the fire hazard of wood piles stored within 30 feet of your structure. Tarps may be purchased for $42.00. Tarps may be shipped to your home address for additional $7.00 per tarp.
