Deer Creek Community Fuel Break
This project creates a community shaded fuel break along the Deer Creek. Understory ladder fuel brush will be removed while retaining the ground cover and tree canopy within the estimated 40 acre project site, providing fire protection for the subdivision homeowners in the area, the communities of Nevada City and Grass Valley as well as watershed protection from wildfire for Deer Creek.
