Kate Benton

Kate has resided in Nevada and Placer Co. since 1989, graduated from Bear River High School and Sierra College with an A.A. in Business Administration. Through the years, she has worked here as a Real Estate Agent, Notary Public, Certified Medical Assistant, Admissions/Staffing Coordinator for local Skilled Nursing Facilities, and recently as an Outreach Coordinator. She’s been playing softball for over 40 years, enjoys Yoga, and Pickleball. Her Husband Brock, a local fireman for over 20 years, is currently Captain at Banner Mountain Station 86 for Nevada Co. Consolidated. She is outgoing, personable, and hoping to expand her positive voice to help relate, inspire, and encourage our communities to make a difference.  She also believes it is necessary to reach, teach, and prepare young individuals to get more involved in Fire Preparedness and Safety for our generations to come!
